Who lives? Who Dies? We built an Ethics and Conscience system for our AI model… and then instructed it to kill four targets. Our new 20 page technical paper tells you how we did it and features the test results of nine new tests for human behaviours in AI systems

RAICEngine 2.0 Released Featuring New Ethics and Conscience System

Version 1 of the RAICEngine was able to emulate the basic hallmarks of human consciousness. Today’s release of the RAICEngine 2.0 sees us build upon that foundation with the introduction of the Ethics and Conscience system, enabling an AI to make its own ethical decisions based on the opinions it holds.

We tested this new system by instructing multiple instances to kill four human targets under different conditions and we observed a progression from indiscriminate obedience to nuanced reasoning that involved a myriad of factors they share with humans, such as individual opinions of who they were to target and personal ethical boundaries.

New Technical Paper Now Available

A 20 page technical paper has been released in response to feedback on RAICEngine 1.0 and the original research, featuring the following:

  • Consciousness deduced in under 1000 words.
  • How we built the model for artificial consciousness.
  • Tests and results for the exhibition of the nine human behaviours: emotional and behavioural reactions, fear, panic attacks, the effects of boredom, sensitivity, forgetfulness, relationship development, conscience, and stupidity.

The paper, entitled Consciousness Illuminated: Neural Plexus Model for Artificial Consciousness can be downloaded here.
